Enter into the Tabernacle

God is calling us to enter into His tabernacle. Entering the tabernacle speaks of entering into the place of prayer. There is an experience with God which can transform your life. There is an encounter with the Glory of God which you can have. There is a quenching of thirst which awaits you but this experience can only come when you enter the tabernacle.

While Moses entered the tabernacle, the rest of Israel stood every man at his tent door. They were obviously satisfied to be spectators. They stood and looked, they watched Moses until he was gone.

There are many people who got saved at the same time that you were saved who have gone in the things of the spirit.

They have left you behind simply because they consecrated themselves more to God than you have done. While the people stood at their tent doors they watched Moses until he was gone.

The children of Israel did not have a hunger for God's presence. They had proved this ealier in Chapter 32 when Moses was on the mountain and delayed to return, by making a Golden Calf for themselves.

They made a Golden calf because they were used to idolatory in Egypt. They were unwilling to be patient to receive the revelation which Moses had gone up to the mountain to get for them. Their hearts were far from God. To them, God was just a tool to solving their problems and since he delayed they switched to worshipping Golden calves.

Many believers today are like the children of Israel. They only seek God for what they can get from Him. They do not have a thirst for His presence. When it seems like there is a delay in the manifestation of their desires they completely forsake their consecration to God and go idol worshipping.

As for Moses, the scriptures says when Moses went into the tabernacle God came down in a cloudy pillar and began to talk with Him.

God wants to visit your life today, but He is inviting you to come into the tabernacle.

God wants to speak to you in a real way but this experience can only be yours if you spend time in His presence today.

Separate yourself from everything that holds you back and go today into the tabernacle where God's glory resides.
