You have received grace

Romans 1:5

  • By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the
    faith among all nations, for his name:  

You have received grace and apostleship.

Grace is God's ability released into man's incapability enabling that man to be able to do
 what he could not do in His natural abilities.

God has given you grace to do the things you could not do naturally. This grace is
given to you to enable you go forth as a sent one, bearing the glad tidings of God
and bringing nations to the obedience of Christ.

Many times we feel incapable in ourselves to do the things which God has sent us to
do. This incapability exists because we have not acknowledged this gift of grace
which Paul says we have received.Grace

God wants us to bring all nations into obedience to the faith. God is interested in
nations and has given us grace and has sent us to go all nations with His message of
love.
Prayer:
Father i recognize and acknowledge your gift of grace in my life and i receive
the strength to put this grace to work.

Obeying the Instruction

Luke 24:49

And,behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

One of the last words of Jesus to the disciples is found here in luke 24:49. Jesus was about to leave the earth and had to leave the most important instruction that would determine how successful his mission to redeeming the human race would be after He was gone.

'Tarry until you are endued with power' He said. How simple this instruction is but how powerful the reality of obeying this instruction. We are seeking everyday different ways of pleasing God but have ignored this very first instruction to tarry. Jesus said tarry until.. In otherwords the duration of the tarrying is determined by when you get endued.

Are you endued with Power? you may say yes, but there ought to be evidence of being endued with power. Signs, wonders and miracles follow those who are endued with power.

Be encourage today to restrict yourself to your Jerusalem and seek this enduement with power. Jesus said, you must restrict your movement and stop going around trying to do the work of God until you are endued with Power.
